Church Council
Faith Lutheran Church is a diverse body of people who are united by our faith in Jesus Christ.  We work together to provide meaningful worship experiences, educational opportunities for all ages, and both local and global experiences of our faith.

Council meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

Adopt A Highway
In the fall and in the spring we walk 3 miles of Hwy 39 going south out of Odebolt. Jeri Skaren -chair.

Altar Committee
They war responsible for setting up the altar for worship. They are also responsible for setting up communion and changing the Paraments according to the church season.


Flower Committee
They provide or make provisions for flowers for the altar for Sunday and special worship services.

Stuga Committee
Responsibilities include cleaning the Stuga at least once a year, and the upkeep of the flower beds around the building. 

Worship Committee
This is a joint committee with Bethel. They are responsible for the shape of the liturgy, introducing of new worship materials from Evangelical Lutheran Worship book, music for the Sunday and special worship services. 

Education Committee
This committee works primarily with Sunday School, Confirmation and VBS. They choose the curriculum for the year as well as the program for VBS.. 

Property Committee
This committee is responsible for the upkeep of the buildings and grounds. 

Stewardship Committee
This committee is responsible for our fall Stewardship Drive and education on matters of stewardship.

Community Life Committee
Works on coordinating events that bring the community together. 

 


Sunday School
We have available Sunday School for 3 yr olds- 6th grade on Sunday mornings throughout the school year. We use a rotation style for classes as our numbers are low. 

Confirmation
Meets on Wednesday evenings with the class from Bethel.  Each student has a mentor to walk them in their faith journey.  It is a two year program for 7th and 8th grade students.  Pastor teaches the class

Kid's Time
For elementary through 6th grade youth.  A time for the youth to come and have fun at church.  Open to all.

Odebolt Youth Fellowship
for Jr. High Youth meeting once a month at the various congregations.

Vacation Bible School
Ecumenical in nature and open to all youth 4 yrs old to those  who have completed K-6th grade. In 2009 we will host it from July 5th-July 9th from 5:30-8:00 p.m.
